Research interests:

My research interests are broadly in  application of  statistics to genomic problems, computational biology, and complex censored data problems.  In particular, I work in the following areas:
  • Regulatory  motif finding in biological sequences

  • Estimation, inference and model selection  in censored data structures

  • Statistical methods for analyzing ChIP-Chip data
  • Statistical computing
  • Comparative genomics
