Background:

I am a native of Wisconsin and a graduate of Wauwatosa East High School. My undergraduate years were at the University of Minnesota
where I studied Mathematics. I then went straight to graduate school at the University of California at Berkeley where I received master's and Ph.D. degrees in Statistics.

I was a member of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Duquesne University from August, 1994 through July, 2002.
